You don’t have to choose between financial stability and serving your community. There’s a better way

You don’t have to choose between financial stability and serving your community. There’s a better way — and a clear framework to get you there.
I became a therapist because I wanted to help people heal and grow. But like so many of us, I started out in community mental health — heavy caseloads, low pay, and the steady feeling of being undervalued. I never opened a private practice, because I knew it wasn’t the right path for me.
And I watched countless colleagues build private practices only to feel unfulfilled, because they couldn’t truly serve the communities they cared about.
That tension is what pushed me to build my own nonprofit group practice — one I’ve now sustained for more than 13 years. It lets me serve vulnerable communities and support my family at the same time.
Everything I learned building and running it became The Therapist Nonprofit Framework™, the system I now use to help other therapists create the same kind of practice — without the years of guesswork I went through.

I became a therapist because I wanted to help people heal and grow. But like so many of us, I started out in community mental health; heavy caseloads, low pay, and feeling undervalued. I never opened a private practice because I knew it wasn’t the right path for me. But I’ve supported countless therapists who built private practices, only to find themselves unfulfilled because they couldn’t truly serve their communities.
That tension pushed me to build HOPE Counseling Center, a nonprofit practice I’ve sustained for over 13 years. It allows me to serve vulnerable communities and support my family. Now, throughThriving Impact, I help other therapists create the same kind of practice.

I bring both lived experience and advanced training to this work — and I’ve turned all of it into a repeatable framework, not just a story:
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Pennsylvania
AAMFT Approved Clinical Supervisor
PsyD in Clinical Psychology and a certificate in Organizational Psychology
Seven certificates in Nonprofit Leadership and Management
13+ years as a nonprofit founder and executive director
Known by my team and colleagues as the boss and mentor who valued them — because people always come first
I don’t do fluff. You’ll get clear, step-by-step guidance and the support to actually move — organized around the four pillars of The Therapist Nonprofit Framework™: Formation, Governance, Revenue, and Implementation.
I know burnout and confusion first-hand, and I know how to build the systems that create freedom, sustainability, and impact instead.
My Mission:
Therapists shouldn’t have to choose between purpose and financial stability. My mission is to show you how to build a nonprofit practice that grows people, strengthens communities, and sustains you.
